Mairead Ryan is a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland and accredited as a Cognitive/Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapies (BABCP).
She studied Psychology at University College Dublin and trained as a Psychotherapist at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine London. She completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT Supervision at Royal Holloway and UCL in 2012.
Mairead has practiced as a Cognitive/Behavioural Psychotherapist in Dublin since 1990, working with clients affected by the following :
- Anxiety/Panic Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Eating Disorders
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Work Stress
- Self Esteem and Assertion problems
A Registered Psychologist with PSI and an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist Mairead is also an Accredited CBT Supervisor with BABCP and offers supervision to therapists who are seeking accreditation withBABCP.
Mairead has a particular interest in Arabic culture and holds an M.A. in History of Art and Archaeology of the Middle East from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
